The Alumni Parlamentu Foinsa’e Timor-Leste (APFTL)
and its partner, ChildFund Timor-Leste (CFTL), officially signed an
Agreement for the continuation of the Swipe Safe/Online Safety Project.
The goal of this project is to strengthen the protection system for children
and youth in Timor-Leste.
During the agreement signing, the president of APFTL, Benvinda
Gusmão Alves expressed her gratitude for the cooperation and support from
CFTL, stating that the agreement "officially solidifies our
partnership." She reaffirmed APFTL's commitment to continue working based
on the plan established by both parties, thereby contributing to a safer
society, especially in the world of the internet.
On the other hand, Ms. Alzira dos Reis (Country Director, CFTL), affirmed that APFTL is a youth organization with which they have collaborated for a long time and now they are signing the continuation agreement for a period of six months, starting from October 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. CFTL is grateful for APFTL's commitment to working together to move forward for the youth and children of Timor-Leste.
