Youth and Meligo Proud to Participate in LSBE Training from APFTL

Alumni of Timor-Leste Youth Parliament (APFTL) conducted Life Skill Basic Education (LSBE) training for 21 youth in Meligo District, Cailaco Administrative Post, Bobonaro Municipality

The objective of this training is to increase knowledge, form civic character and develop the capacity of young people, how to educate them to know how to avoid evil and show good behavior in society

In an interview with participant Cristovão Soares feels very happy because he can get the opportunity to attend training Basic Education Based on Life Skills

"I feel happy because I can get this training from APFTL, I can learn how to live in a family full of love, empathy and make good communication especially how to help each other and love others”. Cristovão Soares said

Participant Claudia Hermelinda Soares thanked the Alumni of the Youth Parliament of Timor-Leste (APFTL) for being able to give them training during the day, which made them learn, discuss and share their ideas better

"Thank you to APFTL for giving us training for three days, we can learn a lot about empathy, communication, feeling other people's feelings, controlling emotions and solving problems, we believe that in the future we will improve ourselves better." Claudia Hermelinda Soares says

On the other hand, Meligo District Chief, Amancio Barreto da Conceição said, his part feels very happy because APFTL can come to facilitate training for young people to increase their knowledge and form them to become good young people for the future

"I feel very happy because APFTL can come to facilitate training for young people in Meligo, this program can increase the knowledge of young people in this village to become young people who have good manners and be successful in the future." Meanwhile, the training lasted for three days facilitated by APFTL members, the training was carried out because APFTL worked together with UNICEF Timor-Leste. There were 21 young people who participated in the training, composed of 12 women and 9 men.
