Youth planting mangroves and cleaning to celebrate International Youth Day

In the context of celebrating International Youth Day, young people planted mangroves or Parapa trees (Tet; Parapa trees) in Metinaro Beach and cleaning in the Bridge and Garden BJ Habibie Bidau area, the intention of this activity is to promote youth involvement in action improve the global climate.

This activity took place on August 7, 2020, and received support Mask and Mineral Water from UNFPA, from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries to give mangrove seedlings to plant in Metinaro Beach, with the participation of Starfish Youth Group, Students Department of Fisheries and Marines - FAGRI UNTL, APFTL members and other youth.

Other activities for the celebration are Blood Donation on August 10, 2020 at SEJD Precinct, Seminar and Youth Colloquium that will take place on August 11, 2020 at the Cathedral Hall of Dili, and Healthy March from November 12 Youth Garden to Motael SEJD Lecidere campus.
